Queenstown
Mt Owen is a standout mountain in the rugged and remote west of Tasmania, towering at 1,146m. Its trails are characterized by steep and exposed ridgeline descents, tight and technical corners, and loose chutes. The terrain of Mt Owen offers an unmatched riding experience in Australia, challenging even the most experienced riders.
While the upper part of the hill features double black runs with steep and exposed descents, the lower mountain has a variety of green, blue, and intermediate trails that still offer a taste of Mt Owen's rugged terrain. Shuttles are available for the upper trails, but riders can also enjoy a fun 10km singletrack session on the lower mountain without an uplift.
