Glad we got the shuttle up as its a steep climb. Stopped off at Fern Tree Tav and ended in the Cascade brewery. Top day out. Our tour guide Rich was fantastic! His knowledge of Mount Wellington and various bike trails was exceptional. He reiterated the safety of mountain bilking in trying conditions ( wet cold & overcast But fantastic). Rich gave everyone the confidence to ride at their own pace and to take others out of their comfort zone. I would highly recommend this activity. Rolled down from Mt Wellington to the Springs for a hot chocolate Onto the bus to the Ferns and trees woodland riding track of gentle riding and then home to South Hobart Rich and Flynn were great hosts and guides. An excellent introduction to the beautiful scenery of the Mountain
