He was very resourceful and full of information about the history of the mountain and the native animals. Had an absolute fantastic time riding with our guide Rich through stunning rainforest tracks and enjoying the decent down from the top of Mt Wellington Hobart. Could not have asked for better weather or days adventure. Rich was very knowledgeable and informative on riding techniques and areas of track we got to enjoy. We loved this ride down Mt Wellington and through the rain forest. Our guide Richard was very knowlegable about the area and Tasmania in general. We did the North-South track and back again on eBikes, before dropping down some Mt Wellington blue and blacks into the old Cascade Brewery. The ride down the mountain was exhilarating and the rain forest portion was full of stunning scenery accompanied with history and geography lessons. The hot chocolate stop was needed and delish. Booked a day hire and shuttle up to Mount Wellington summit to ride the North-South track, and our experience was excellent from booking to riding. We got helpful and clear information whilst booking (last minute on our end), then a friendly welcome from Rich and Phil when we turned up. Rich fitted the bikes to us and gave us clear instructions and explained things when we asked questions about dual suspensions bikes as we hadn’t ridden these before. In the shuttle to the summit, Rich was full of facts and info about the mountain and showed us where the north-south track started so we didn’t miss the turn off on our descent. All in all, a fantastic experience!
