Claire and I had a fantastic time yesterday. It was a lot of fun. the trails were really fantastic and great for us at our level with some really neat stuff and fantastic views and nature all around. We even managed a little bit of airtime. After spending a month exploring beautiful Tasmania I can say that the bike tour on Kunanyi, led by Rich from Tasmanian Mountain Bike Adventures was an absolute highlight. We were able to cycle down the mountain at whatever pace we felt safe with, and were then treated to a beautiful off road downhill cycle, learning about various interesting snippets of history along the way. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to experience all the ride as I’m not very fit. Our guides were so supportive along each section of the ride, pointing out landmarks etc, I was shocked we had ridden for 4 hours and we were back at the start. Best mountain bike rental operator I have ever used! I made a last minute booking and they were so accommodating, providing a shuttle even though they were really busy with other groups. The bike was good, and they provided a lot of extra gear to ensure I had a good and comfortable ride.
